sorry, forgot to mention, with the day 1 results, Lefty is in the hunt today for the Australian Open title,
Nelson Bay is a very difficult and demanding golf course.  my motto here is,  if you stray, you pay!

i have strayed a bit, and it has cost me,  however, we are all kn the same boat here, 

my brother Darcy wanted  me to keep the driver in the bag.  However, the driver has been an asset off the tee.  the second club that has been an asset  has been the putter.  Putts in first round were 26 or 27.

i expect the Canadian contigent to bounce back today, as the focus is the use today as more practice for the Workds.
